This article shows you how to send a voice note file (e.g. an OPUS file) to a registered Telegram group in VBA / Visual Basic Script.

To send a Telegram message containing a voice note file in VBA, do this:

  1. First, learn how to send a simple text message to a group on the official site.
  2. With the above knowledge, you can now download our sample code.
  3. Locate the file VBA/group-send-telegram-opus.vbs.
  4. Study the VBA source code and customize the TODO/FIXME lines.
  5. Copy the voice note file assets\martin-luther-king.opus in the sample code package to C:\Users\Public\martin-luther-king.opus
  6. Run Main_Routine in the VBA program.
